Classy import Libran has returned to racing in excellent condition this time and remains clear $2.20 favourite in 2016 Chairman’s Handicap betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Returning to racing this time for third in the Gardenia Handicap (1600m) at Randwick on February 6th, Libran produced a good late turn of foot despite being blocked when fourth in the Listed Parramatta Cup (1900m) on February 20th.

Having clearly relished the continual step up in distance, the Lawman gelding returned to winning form in the Listed Randwick City Stakes (2000m) before taking out the Group 3 NE Manion Cup (2400m) by two lengths a fortnight ago.

Brenton Avdulla retains the ride on Libran in the 2016 Chairman’s Handicap, who will leave from the ideal barrier 4.

Destiny’s Kiss has continued to receive plenty of interest in 2016 Chairman’s Handicap betting markets and currently figures as outright second-favourite and clear market mover at a quote of $5.50 for success.

A rare staying star for sprint king Joe Pride, Destiny’s Kiss returned to racing in Boxing Day for third in the December Handicap (1600m) before posting consecutive wins in the Listed Gosford Cup (2100m) and Listed Australia Day Cup (2400m).

Having placed fourth in the Group 3 Sky High Stakes (2000m) last time out, the Power Of Destiny gelding will leave from the rails draw in the Chairman’s Stakes but will be partnered by regular hoop Jason Collett.

Café Society is yet to attract much interest in betting markets for Saturday’s sole Group 2 event but remains outright third-favourite at 2016 Chairman’s Handicap odds of $6.

Café Society has posted a number of commendable results both in Australia and his native Great Britain through a competitive racing career, but appears as though he has returned in particularly good condition this time.

Unlucky to be blocked late when seventh in the Parramatta Cup first-up, the Motivator gelding was again luckless when seventh in the Randwick City Stakes but ran on for second in the NE Manion Cup last time and will relish a step-up to 2600m on Saturday.
